Alice is under the watchful eye of scientific minds, lives a seemingly ordinary life, but still the mystery of the death of her family does not leave the grown girl alone. Alice’s family died in a terrible fire, but the girl survived, while ending up in a psychiatric clinic, and then in a shelter for mentally ill orphans with mental trauma and personality disorder.
The game is a direct continuation of the first part, released 10 years before the release of Alice: Madness Returns. An interesting platformer with lots of puzzles, third-person combat scenes, Alice’s unexpected abilities and an extraordinary fairy-tale world with a hint of madness and violence – that’s how Alice: Madness Returns can be summed up. Alice’s story unfolds in two realities: gloomy London and a colorful, but even more sinister Wonderland – a figment of the imagination of a girl with deep mental trauma. The game was released in 2011 to mostly positive reviews from critics.
